Walking and Cake Eating Videos

Here's a more recent video of Thomas walking--he's gotten much steadier and much faster!

And an edited version of Thomas eating birthday cake. As you'll see, he was fairly tentative with the cake. Later on (what you see is edited down from 7 minutes), we frosted him a bit for fun. Don't mind the end of the song...who knew our group would come off sounding so off key?!?!

Happy Birthday Thomas!

Thomas turns 1 year old today! Happy Birthday sweet boy! We've enjoyed every second of the last year!

More Weekend Pics

We had a great time with the Swensons in town!

Thomas loved having extra people to play with and admire his walking skills!

Grammy and Grandpa got TJ a tunnel for his birthday--lots of fun to play in!

Who needs toys when you have Dad's headlamp?

Ed, the incredible elastic man, stretched out in Thomas' 10-foot tunnel.

Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Thomas' first birthday a bit early because we had visitors for the long weekend--Mom, Dad, Jenn and Pat.

Check out our big boy! Doesn't he look older than one? It must be the hair.

I found cute dinosaur plates and napkins, and Ed wanted TJ to wear his halloween costume again because it's so darn cute, so the party had a dino theme.

A little cake just for Thomas

Thomas and Grandpa rest up with a 2-hour nap before the party! Good strategy to get out of helping get the house ready... :)

And below...a sequence of cake eating pictures.
Singing and blowing out the candle.

Not real sure about the "messy" frosting on his fingers...

Willing to try a bite.

Not too messy

We attacked Thomas a bit with frosting--a nakey baby with a frosted cupcake should be messier! And, if you noticed his legs in every picture, he always eats with his legs crossed--so polite!

The party scene

Thomas with his friends Molly and Cooper, both of whom ate their cupcakes with more gusto than he did!

Happy Valentine's Day!

One Year Professional Pictures

Here are the one-year pictures we had taken of Thomas tonight.

Imagine that...he smiled for them!
