Leaf piles!

It seemed like our leaves fell late this year. We didn't do any raking/leaf playing until November. Fortunately it wasn't too cold, so we could still enjoy the leaf time. Ed blew all the front yard leaves into a pile, and then after a rainstorm or two in mid November, we moved the pile into the woods along the side of our house. We don't even have that many trees, but it felt like we did a lot of blowing/leaf transport this year.

Some action shots:

The boys helped, too--picking up sticks in the wheelbarrow and raking. I invested in two small rakes, in part so they could help, and in part so they weren't trying to use Ed's and my rakes. Definitely a worthwhile purchase! Most of their raking was to put the leaf pile back together after some good jumps!

A pretty good photo by Jojo!
